Youth Mental Health First Aid
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to better understand how to recognize and respond to signs of mental health challenges in youth and adolescents. No prior experience is required.
Participants will learn how to:

Adult Mental Health First Aid
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to better understand how to recognize and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. No prior experience is required.
Participants will learn how to:
Recognize early signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults
Respond to crises such as panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, non-suicidal self-injury, or overdose situations
Use the ALGEE Action Plan to provide safe, effective support
Reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health
Connect individuals with appropriate professional and community resources
Who Should Attend:
Employers, managers, and workplace leaders
Healthcare professionals and first responders
Faith-based and community leaders
Human services and social service professionals
College faculty, staff, and support personnel
Anyone interested in supporting the mental health of adults in their community

2. Complete the 2 hour self-paced online modules at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
3. Attend the full ONLINE instructor-led event (must have comeria on during the entire video conference).4. Complete the post course online modules. 5. Veiw, Print, Share your certificate of completion. 6. Renew your training in 3 years.
